🪡 Step-by-Step Instructions:
1️⃣ Cut All Pieces
Print and cut the paper pattern. Pin to fabric and cut:
2 body pieces
2 tail pieces
4 leg pieces
Optional: mark seam lines (¼ inch or 6 mm seam allowance).
2️⃣ Sew the Legs
Place 2 leg pieces right sides together.
Stitch around, leaving the top edge open.
Turn right side out and stuff lightly.
Repeat for the second leg.
3️⃣ Assemble the Tail
Place tail pieces right sides together.
Sew around, leave the base open.
Turn and stuff. Optional: embroider tip in white.
4️⃣ Attach Tail & Legs to Body
Pin legs and tail to the right side of one body piece, pointing inward.
Place the second body piece on top, right sides facing.
Sew all the way around, leave a small opening at the head for turning.
5️⃣ Turn & Stuff
Turn the body right side out carefully.
Use a pencil or stick for corners.
Stuff firmly but evenly.
Sew the opening at the head closed by hand.
6️⃣ Embroider the Face
Use black embroidery floss for eyes and nose.
Keep the expression sweet and simple.
7️⃣ Make the Dress (Optional)
Cut a rectangle of fabric.
Hem top and bottom.
Fold in half and sew side seam.
Slip over the doll and hand-gather at the neckline with thread.
