  2. I've just seen the completed quilt. It is fantastic. I love the colour choice. I see you got 15 in the end, I'm glad you did. What size did the final quilt end up being? What does the new owner of the quilt think of it or did you end up keeping it for yourself lol? I think it's great, and I am so glad you uploaded the pictures of the finished project. Well done to you. It is something to be proud of and passed down through the family. All the best. Dave W.

  5. Ha ha lol. I missed that, you are right the measurement should have been in millimetres. It is approximately 8cm square. I had better fix the type error. Have a look at the PDF file that explains all. Lol have fun with the design. Thanks for your comments.

  7. Woohoo. I do like this design. More designs for men. Not that I'm saying a lady couldn't wear this, she could. But this one is going on MY t-shirt. Lol lol lol lol.
This design is cool. Nice and big, so it will fill the front of a t-shirt. Super thanks

  12. That's a strange reply to a topic where there is a picture of a carpet, embroidered. The embroidery is usually done before the rubber backing is attached. And the design has to be digitised for carpet as your material. There are lots material settings in digitising software, it's not really one size fits all. Most people digitise for pure cotton, I do. Note there are settings for towelling, fleece, leather and so on
  13. You're welcome. I'm only doing 1 more, it's Horus same style. I think Teal'c had Horus as his head gear as he was a jafar guard before he became one of the good guys.

This is a simple design, people will think you are into Egypt or Egyptology, but really you know it's a design from the TV series. It would look great on the left breast of a t-shirt. I've put the .emb file in as well. Oh i don't know have some fun with it. If you like the design please click on the Heart like button, leave a comment or review to let me know what you think. 16. I am not sure if this is of any help but here we go. My Elna machine does not see any file with an accent in it's file name, like in the French language ë, è, é, ç that kind of thing. I have to rename them first, for my machine to actually see the file. Does this help?
  17. You are both right EMB is a native file format. The working file the software creates when saving your design in Wilcom. It retains all information about the design. DST is the machine file format exported from the software so your embroidery machine can see the design. Unfortunately DST does not retain colour information. You would then need a colour chart to replicate the designs original looks.
  18. Try giving the support centre a call in Stockport Manchester UK they helped me with my Elna Expressive 920. Even the receptionist is very knowledgeable, if they can't help they will get one of the engineers to talk to you. If there is no one to answer your question, they call you back when someone is available, that's how good the customer support is. Its definitely worth a try.
  19. Oh my word. That looks fantastic. There is going to be a very lucky boy, or girl out there. Who is loved very much by the person creating the quilt for them. Thank you for posting a picture of your work, I love seeing what people put embroidery on to. Keep up the great work. All the best. Dave W
