Did sombody find out how to digitize for this material? I'm having troubles with a filled circle. The digitizing company we are using has no idea about digitizing for this material, so I had to do edits to the design, changing the understitches and the fills, but still can't get it right. Any tip about digitizing this (we've got lot's of tips about hooping) would be really appreciated! Attached is my embroidery file for this design. Thank you so much!!! Hello guys. My name is MJ and I am completely new to the embroidery / digitizing scene. I am 24 years old having recently graduated school. Unfortunately I decided to go down a different career path. I want to learn to digitize but am overwhelmed by the helplessness of where to begin. I have NEVER worked with embroidery or embroidery machines before. I am one who takes heavy interest in design and I do have appreciation for embroidery. I just do not know where to begin. Communities from Reddit told me to find work at an embroidery shop and learn some basic knowledge about embroidery and only then should I start to learn the digitizing software. Do you guys agree? I am already looking for work at embroidery shops but it is hard because I do not have any experience and many do not have time to train. What would you guys do if you were in my shoes? COMPLETELY NEW to embroidery/digitizing and wanting to learn... Thank you so much.

Hi all. I am new to digitizing and am using the Janome Digitizer V5. I am wanting to make a stuffed soft toy. I have created my design using the Applique tool. This has worked fine. However I need to created a space in the final stitch out so I can stuff the toy. The final stitchout object appears to be an open shape but I cant break the line to make a space. I have set the stitches to sculpture stitch. Any help/advise would be greatly appreciated. Sandy

Hi Everyone, I am looking for affordable software that will allow me to Digitize Running Stitches from designs I make in Adobe Illustrator. I did a litle bit of testing in Embrilliance StitchArtist, however a price tag of approx $500 USD turned me off. I read some threads here about cheaper software, but I wanted to hear your experienced perspective before I go ahead and download 10 Trials of every different software. All I will ever do are Running Stitches. I just want them to look pretty and have the ability to edit them. Best would be if I could convert existing images/vector files into stitches. Thanks

Hi, I have created a design in Illustrator using vector lines. There are 200 of them designed in a specific order. When I 'Get from Application' in Embroidery Office 15, they appear in the correct order. But when I use the 'Art To Stitch' I lose the order. I can't see anything that I need to click to keep the order according to the order of the vector list. Anyone have the solution to this? Thanks, GM

Hi all! I'm a beginner, literally just purchased my first machine (Brother PE-770). I am literally wanting to hear about all of the ins and outs and secrets that you're willing to give! I will probably mainly use the machine for monograms and such for myself, daughter, and other family members until I get used to it to be able to start an in-home business. Where do you find monograms to use? And how to create them as well? Every tutorial I see just starts with the design/monogram already being on the flash drive. Again, ANY information would be great. Thanks everybody in advance!

I would like to have the logo for the local Hospice digitized so I can make some special things for the nurses and aides that are taking care of my husband. I did find the logo on line but I don\'t know if it is good enough for you to use to digitize from. I don\'t know where to send it so you can see it, so please let me know. Thank You

Hi Everyone, I am writing a free program for machine embroidery. It's totally free. I started the project about three months ago because I wanted to create a program that would do interesting stitching along a path that my commercial software did not do. It has evolved to something much more than that. The satin stitching is pretty complete. I am still refining fills, they work but do more jumps than I would like. Please check it out and let me know what you think of my program. https://sourceforge.net/projects/handstich/
