TMFX-C904 will not read disk

Hello,  I have Tajima TMFX-904 and using a disk reader TFD II.  When loading a program it will only read up to 518 stitches and then stops.  Has anyone had this issue and if so, what did you do. I have tried every button on the machine and nothing happens.  I use the same disk reader on my 12 head Tajima and it works fine.  So it has to be something with the machine.  Can I reset the machine to its original settings without needing a disk.
