How much memory can I add to my TAJIMA TMLG-G916?

Hello everyone

I need to add some memory to my embroidery machine, TAJIMA model TMLG-G916.
It is a rather old equipment, but it still works correctly for jobs of no more than 30 - 40 thousand points.
In the hardware cabinet I see two empty slots for expansion memory cards, but nobody knows how many points would be added with one or two of them.
Another doubt concerns the floppy drive, never used because it was faulty and because the machine was equipped with a USB tape reader emulator, which is terribly slow but acceptable for short jobs.
I would like to repair the faulty floppy drive or replace it with a USB emulator, but first I would like to make sure that the file upload procedure would be greatly shortened.

Any ideas or suggestions?
