lone
I'm having trouble with eliminating puckering on San Mar baby bib's. I've tried different weights tearaway, multiple sheets, etc. Also tried adhesive types. Was thinking about heat-away, but figured I'd ask the group in hopes of a quicker answer. Thanks in advance for your kind assistance. Quote Link to comment
ramages
Hi, I don't know about San Mar's bib but I have been embroidering on light weight terry bibs for quite some time and find the iron on mesh backing works quite well. When I'm done I reheat it and peel off what isn't sewn on then apply an iron on over the stitches to keep them off baby. Quote Link to comment
Berez
What is your stitch count and is there any stretch to the bib? Quote Link to comment
lone
I guess my eMail didn't get to you so I'll try here. Material is 78% poly 22% cotton and very stretchy. I'd call it a micro-terry, very fine and soft. It's really a very nice product, and I'm going to need to sew out a bunch of these so the Iron-on idea sounds like more man-hours than I want it to be. Currently I'm hooping these with a tubular hoop...have considered going to a clamping system but I'm fairly sure that the clamp will not resolve the situation. Would appreciate your thoughts and suggestions. Quote Link to comment
