Help adding stitches

This may seem like a very basic thing but I'm quite new to digitizing. I need a hand with adding stitches. I referenced the video but it did not help. How do I add stitches to an existing segment?

Hi,  Depending on the file type it depends on what you can do with the file , if your in the USA you can contact us directly , we can walk you through editing the desigs or if you have internet we use the goto assist tools which allows us to see the design and show you things on your screen.. Depending on the file type will depend on how you can edit..
There are several ways you can add stitches to a design you can change the stitch length , the density or you can go into stitch mode using the stitch select tool and add stitches using this mode.. However please note in stitch mode do that as a last resort or last step in editing, because in stitch mode if you resize, or cause the software to generate stitches you will loose the changes you just made.
