Looking for a embroidery machine for fonts only

Hi all! I'm just starting to consider buying an embroidery machine to replace the iron-on patches used so far. I would only need it to make names and/or phrases. I don't really care much about making other designs. I have been looking for machines and videos and tutorial and I am quite confused. The ones I watched so far don't have nice letter-forming. They look like quite weak and untidy. I would like a machine which makes nice and sturdy fonts, while they are not too expensive. Could you please suggest/orientate/guide me in the right direction?
