Would anyone have any ideas on how to digitize a fill for 1 inch lettering on a cap? The finished font looks like a ribbed corduroy.  I don't know how else to describe it.  The stitch angle goes just one way and there are slim sections of satin stitches, separated by a slim space in between them, which is what gives it the look of a ribbed corduroy.  I have tried everything I can think of to get that look but have struck out so far.  Any ideas?

Are you using True Type or Embroidery font?  If you are using an embroidery font, just go into your segment settings, Choose Satin.  Where it says pattern: Satin, change that to Smooth.

If you are using a True type font, what you see is what you get in a fill.  You could convert it to Artwork (under TEXT in segment settings -Fill Type - Artwork.)  Then use that as a pattern and digitize with your ComplexFill tool.

I noticed in E2.0 that the two command buttons "Insert trim at end" and "end lock" doesn't seem to work.

Is it that way or can you make them work with some special setting?
