I bought a Patch Kit with water soluble stabilizer. I have a pattern for a free standing butterfly and the instructions say to use this stabilizer. The problem is it won't hold the thread, It starts by threading 1/2 the outline, when it starts the wing it looks stringy and eventually puts a big hole in the stabilizer. I even tried tripling the stabilizer and the same thing happens. I would appreciate any feedback on this. It's a beautiful pattern.- 1 reply
