Embroidery design format change on laptop

Featured Replies

Posted

All my embroidery designs were in what was called ngs.documents. I was able to transfer the design to my machine that way. About 2 weeks ago they all changed to word. I don't have a word program on my laptop, How do I get them back to the ngs.documents? Any information would be helpful. Thank you

I had a Singer but hated it. So I just got a Elna Experience 8300. I would love to beable to use some of the designs I have but until I figure out how to get out of the word I can't

I uninstalled the program my editor and now the embroidery design are now in the machine format that they should be in. You gave me the idea of deleting the program thank you. Now one more question I now have a Elna experience 8300. Could you tell me what embroidery format that machine uses? thank you again

Supported File format is *.JEF

When you download or buy embroidery designs, make sure to acquire a salable file format such as PES or better, one of the formats that is used by design software to store all the data used to create a design. Formats that only include stitches like JEF can't get edited easily !
