You can select default shapes to apply at the beginning and/or at the end of a path. The “Beginning” and Ending” properties will control de effect that the stitches will have on the path’s ends.

To apply the Beginning-End effects, follow these steps:

1. Select the path you will apply the Beginning and/or Ending effects to.

Click on the “Select Object” tool and then on the desired section.

“Select Object” tool

2. Open the “Object Manager” and unfold the “Object Inspector”. From the “Stitch Effects” tab, open the “Beginning” tool and select an effect from the list.

3.The Beginning effect will be automatically applied to one end of the path.

4. Open the “Ending” tool and select an effect from the list.

5. The Ending effect will be automatically applied to the other end of the path.

You can also apply these properties from the “Border” ribbon, on the “Stitches Effects” group.

Before start digitizing , you can change options for  Start End point Optimized  from Yes to No. After that your every time will choose the position where area to start and finish.
