Brother pe150 card and reader

Featured Replies

Hi. My wife has just purchased a 2and hand Brother pe150. There are no cards with this and was wondering if there are any generic memory cards that can be used. Many thanks

There are Brother cards available, sometimes you can find them on Craigslist or ebay.  I actually have 4 cards I never use and could send them for the cost of postage.  You could also look for a ped basic card reader, which comes with a blank card, which you can then load with designs from the internet.

I have the same problem with my brother PE150. Do you still have some memory cards available? This would be very helpful.

I just started embroidery and have a brother pe150. I didn’t know I needed a specific card and card reader. It only takes a brother PED-basic memory card.

And when you can only use these cards. This is not very convenient. They have a small capacity and are quite expensive.

I have this machine. They're a few card readers that are compatible with the machine. PED, Ultimate Box, Magic Box or Amazing Box...  picking which one you want, depends on the computer/laptop you have, budget and storage.

I went with the Ultimate plus box as it connects to my laptop via USB versus serial port connection which would be for a PC of a lower version. It is the top tier as in price but you won't need an upgrade with this card reader. The most after that is a backup card reader, just in case your first reader dies.

The Ultimate card holds as much storage is on the card verses the other where you can only have 6 designs per card.

Hey! I'm interested! Do you by any chance have a fancy alphabet card?

Give me a little time..just got a new right hip! I'm pretty sure I have that card. I'll check ASAP.
