Embroidering towels for a customer...do you?

Hi! I'm new here! I've been doing machine embroidery for a few years now but nothing very intense! Recently I was asked to do about 20 beach towels as a paid project. So, I have a question which I can't find an answer to....those of you who do this for a living, do you wash the towels to remove the stabilizer or do you leave it cut out neatly on the back and tell the customer it will wash out????
