Hi, I’m new to embroidery and I have a Ricoma embroidery machine. Can you please advise me on what is the best Madeira thread type to embroider on hoodies and what kind of stabilizer sheet? And what is the recommended needle size  for the industrial embroidery machine like (Ricoma)? I would really appreciate your help.

Thank you

Usually Rayon. this is best and soft. I recommend strong stabilizer around 75-100 gramm per m2. Brand connects with your local dealer. I live in Uruguay, we have 20 types. Embroidery market very small.

As yarn, rayon materials are a bit expensive, I think polyester number 40 threads are more efficient, while fine needles with number 65 work well (shirt, t-shirt, knitwear,)

My opinion. Polyester is not very good when you need to embroider on children's clothing. From the bottom, the embroidery forms hard knots that can injure baby's skin.

Hi Shyma. I have used epic stitch machine in last two years and it is much comfortable to make any  embroidery on any apparel. mostly i have used sulky embroidery slimine thread which is one of the most well known brands that can be found worldwide, and it's also got the most variety of colors and styles or I worked with 75/11, 80/12 and 90/14 needles because it is capable to make strong stitching.
