Brother Bes 1216AC 12 color embroidery machine

I own a Brother BES 1216AC - 12 color embroidery machine. I know this is a very old machine but was fully functional until one day when it was turned off. I contacted Brother USA to acquire the Panel Installation software for this machine. I was sent files for a chinese machine. It does not work. There should be 3 files to reset and install the machine back to work. Is there any hope of getting some of these original old machine files? Your help would be greatly appreciated as I make my living with these machines.
