Fragment of young woman portrait embroidery design

There is one of the most expressive fragments of Young Indian woman embroidery design which shows her face. It allows us not only to appreciate the beauty of the thread’s shade chosen for this picture but also carefully examine the technique used for it. The contours of girl’s face and her face features are made with convex seams which looks like drawn by pencil while the veil of her hair and the shades on her face are executed as dense smooth surfaces.
