MM Embroidery
Hello everyone! We hope your having a great day! We are a young couple trying to create a small bussiness with embroidery machine and we have few years in this sphere, but we are self-taught, and we're not going to lie, it's really hard, but it's making us happy. We are reaching out to you regarding one problem that we have with our embroidery machine from few months. At the beggining we didn't really knew how to treat the embroidery machine, we oiled it every mounth and we carried the machine to basic prophylactic every six months, but we think that we might haven't let her rest enough after long time of working. However we are having a problem now which is a really bad squeaky noise coming from the machine. For the last one month we took it apart more than 5 times and we tried to figure out from where the noise is, unfortunately, we coundn't and we decided to take it to shop where we buyed it, because they have a mechanic there. We haven't been satisfyied with them, but we didn't had a choice either. After they returned the machine they were confident that it's fixed and this noise is gone, but as soon as we got home with the machine and started it the machine started to squeak again, we called them and they informed us that they can't do anything else and that we can keep working like this until it breaks and they won't take any fault for it. Unfortunately these people are the most recomended in the contry for this job and we don't have a big choice, we need to fix it or to find another way out at some point. The only advice that we received from the mechanic is that we need to open up the whole machine and oil everything at least one time at the week. One more strange thing that can be said is that this noise starts from the beggining at some project then stops at some point it's coming again. It is mostly when the machine just cut off the thread and start a new detail. We had one whole day with a lot of work and we heard it few times for the whole day of working. The machine that we are working on is Elna eXpressive 970, but it's absolutely the same as Janome MB-7. Please keep in mind that the machine had been oiled a lot in last few months just because of this problem. Please reach out to us if you have questions or suggestions regarding this problem we will be more than thankful to hear it! We wish you a great rest of your week and stay safe! Kind Regards, MM.Embroidery. Quote Link to comment
