Noise on PE 770 embroidery machine

hey folks 

I need some advice. My PE 770 is making a loud thumping noise when it is stitching. The stitches are ok,  just the machine is very loud. I talked with my repair guy and he thinks that my pressure foot is bad or going bad. I might need to replace it. I can wiggle the foot a lot even when the screw is very tight.

Has anyone else encountered this issue?

Well, I had a PE700 at one time and, generally speaking, it was not quiet at all. Though, sometimes in my case design was way too dense or my needle was dull.
So, Cindy, if you can read this - how is it going? Just wondering, is your machine working fine now?

I bought that same machine new. It worked just fine, nice stitches, but it was too loud in general for me. I sold it and bought a used higher end machine because I hated the loud clicking. Sorry I think that machine is just noisy.
