Bobbin thread coming through to the front of my embroidery designs

Hi all, i really hope someone can help e. Im new to embroidery and have a Brother Innovis. I have wound my own bobbins using the suggested thread but as its embroidering, i can see little white spots everywhere from the bobbin thread pulling through to the front of my design.

I am usually a sewer and my normal machine would be telling me my tension isnt correct. Is this the same for the embroidery machine?

Try to buy an already wound bobbin and check if it does not have these problems, then the problem is in the winding of the bobbin thread. If problems persist, then the tension needs to be adjusted.

This problem is the easiest to solve. Simply reduce the needle thread tension.  Happy stitching! :D

Yep, sounds like a tension thing to me too.
