Hi Everyone,

I am writing a free program for machine embroidery. It's totally free. I started the project about three months ago because I wanted to create a program that would do interesting stitching along a path that my commercial software did not do.

It has evolved to something much more than that. The satin stitching is pretty complete. I am still refining fills, they work but do more jumps than I would like.

Please check it out and let me know what you think of my program.

I down loaded your software but it is only showing pes. and dst. is that all the formats it does???

also could you talk it through and go a bit slower not sure what to do .

Hi Everyone,

Currently the program only inputs PES and outputs DST.  Eventually I want to make it be able to input DST and output PES so color info goes with it.  My priority though is to add more design functions and improve the ones that already exist.

Jim, it looks like you are really working on your software:-) I am going to watch your videos and will download the new version tomorrow. I have used Embird for years but it is always nice to see others doing something with embroidery software. Back when I got started with embroidery, most of the software took a dongle and was horribly pricey - way out of my notion of affordability. Now there are a few out there that are more affordable. On the other hand, the machines have gotten ridiculously expensive (at least in my view).

I look forward to seeing how EmbroideryWare develops and will try to digitize something after I download it and let you know how it goes.

That is awesome!

Hi Everyone,

I am pleased to announce that I now have a web page http://www.embroiderywaresoftware.com/
My web page will be the best place to see what is going on with EmbroideryWare development.

EmbroideryWare is still free. I have a storefront where it can be download for free.

The program will still be up on sourceforge too. I think the webpage though in the long run will be a better way to communicate with my users and also show some projects I am working on.  I am after all a hobbiest embroiderer first and a programmer second!

Hi Everyone,

It been a while since I posted.  EmbroideryWare has come a long way since I introduced the Beta version back in March 2016.  It went into a commercial phase back in June of 2016 and has been updated quite a bit since then.

If any of you are interested in where it is now you can check it out at https://www.embroiderywaresoftware.com or see what people are saying about it on https://www.facebook.com/EmbroideryWare

Thank you for trying it out.
