How connect to Toyota embroidery machine via serial

I have old Toyota embroidery machine. Which have only serial port, not USB, Who have experience with this embroidery machine?

You need some software which support transfer embroidery design to this machine. I choose Tajima Pulse Maestro.

Here are some notes when connecting Tajima DG/ML by Pulse to a Toyota ESP 9000 using the serial connection.

We do not currently support Toyota's bi-directional protocol.  We do support standard serial communication (one design at a time).

The cable for connecting to the Toyota machines is a standard null modem serial cable.  I have also seen Tajima and Brother cables work on older brother models.

When adding the machine in TAJIMA DG/ML software select Toyota for the machine type and 9600 for the baud rate.

On the display of the Toyota machine, change  the display to Data Menu

Input Data PC

Read Data from external device and press set

Baud Rate is 9600

Dip Switches in off position.

To download a embroidery design on the machine,

Start Point Data Set

Data Menu - Input Through PC Set

Job # 00 change that to 1 (just press 1) and press set

Data light will start flashing.

Beep once

Center the Active Needle

Trace

Start

This is for SWF embroidery machine

The following are notes for connecting SWF embroidery machines using the serial port using Tajima DG/ML by Pulse.

Select SWF for the machine type when adding a new serial machine.  Baud rate is usually 38400.

The cable type is a standard null modem cable
