microfleece and stabilizer

Recommended Posts

Have a look at this before you start, - I would use a heavyweight water soluble, but you may well get away with cutaway - as long as it is strong enough to give all the support that is needed. I presume that the fleece is very stretchy so will need to be held firmly.

Would a medium cut-away or tear-away work? I have those. (got them with the machine) I thought the thicker cut-away might feel stiff under the fleece. Does that stuff ball up and fall off after washing/drying? (I always think of blankets that get those "lint balls" that collect in the inside corners and of course you can get to them because they are inside the blanket.

Its up to you - the back of stitches will be showing or the scarf is backed with some more fabric? If its going to be hidden then its probably best to leave words 'connected' , but if the back will be visible then I would try to get rid of the stabilizer as much as possible.  :)
