siv1987
I was wondering how to you hoop the front lip on a winter cap .. the cap height there is only 3" and the embroidery design is 2.75 inches tall ? Any suggestion Quote Link to comment
ZloiCiuvac
We use a clamp, tear away backing, and solvy topping when we do stocking caps Quote Link to comment
siv1987
Hi, What kind of clamping system do you use. I only have the tajima round frames ? Quote Link to comment
cousette31
Hi> I just use my round frames for knitted caps and it works well for me. If you turn the cap inside out you can hoop regularly and you shouldn't have to rotate the embroidery design. If you have a sample pin it to your hat to make sure you are embroidering it the right way before you start. I use a light weight cutaway on the back and solvy on the front. Try not to stretch the cap too much when you hoop it. The solvy washes away easily when you are done. Quote Link to comment
ZloiCiuvac
I have both sizes of the ITSC clamps and various window sizes as well. If this is your first clamp I would suggest the Itsc 2 frame and a 6 Quote Link to comment
