Berry168 Posted February 2, 2021 Share Posted February 2, 2021 I have used Hatch software to convert some pictures to an embroidery designs, they look fine in the Hatch portal and .EMB format but when exported to .PES format the blocks of colour don;t keep their format - the stitches have large ggps in them - any ideas ? diver361 Posted February 3, 2021 Share Posted February 3, 2021 We will change all stitches in your embroidery design. Before that, it was satin. Satin has a stitch length limit of up to 12 mm (not all embroidery machines support). Therefore, such a file, when loaded into the embroidery machine, shows the missing part of the stitches. We changed it to Tatami type. But this increased the number of stitches significantly. Remember that some Brother embroidery machines have a design limit (usually 32,000 stitches). There is a check box you must make sure it's ticked when you use a satin fill stitch that has to cover greater that about 12mm It is the split stitch option. You can fill a large area with satin stitches and will not have gaps in it. 1 Quote Link to comment
