How to convert DST into EMB file?

I am just a novice, so sorry for this stupid question..

Is there any way to convert DST file into EMB format? without loosing any object properties and stitch information

You cannot convert a file from DST format to EMB format. In fact, you can simply save it in the format using the Wilcom program. But it will not be the same.
DST file format is a set of stitches. With indication of coordinates for the embroidery machine.
EMB format is more a vector format. There are pointers coordinates areas with fill parameters (densiry, color, type).

There is a way you can save such file in .EMB, here it is:

Open Wilcom, go to File, then click Open. When the Open windows pops up, make sure to indicate (in the dropdown menu) that you´re looking for .DST files. Then proceed to the folder in which you have you DST file, select it and voilá.

Now that you have opened it, go to Save as and select EMB format.

As diver361 pointed, the problem is that you will only get a coordinates file, not very useful for modification.

You are both right EMB is a native file format. The working file the software creates when saving your design in Wilcom. It retains all information about the design. DST is the machine file format exported from the software so your embroidery machine can see the design. Unfortunately DST does not retain colour information. You would then need a colour chart to replicate the designs original looks.

If we have DST file with color chart, can we get stitches property of file?

Yes you can. The .dst file has stop commands for the colour changes. You just need to change the thread to the correct colour as the machine stops for the next change.

In the design settings you can choose to open a machine file as stitches, or as objects. If you select open file as objects. Wilcom software will try to convert as much as it can to objects. It may not convert everything. Then you can change density and so on.

Remember though it will not be a grade A emb file because it was converted into an emb when you click save as. It wasn't created in Wilcom. It will be grade C or grade D. You will not be able change the size to any more or less than 10% without running into problems. If a file was created in Wilcom and is grade A, you can resize to anything 50% or more as a true emb file is an object/vector based design.
