sevigine Posted November 21, 2013 Share Posted November 21, 2013 When we insert text into the document, when we export it to a DST file there is a long tail of thread (a running stitch) that throws off the entire sizing of the design. You cannot see it when it is in DSG format. For instance, if a 6 letter word is only a 3/4" tall and 4" wide, when we trace it, it shows that the design is 10" x 12". I tried manually fixing it, but it does not work. This poses a big problem. Quote Link to comment
diver361 Posted November 21, 2013 Share Posted November 21, 2013 Are you sure that you remember to order your "Start" and "End" point into the middle of the machine embroidery design before exporting? - I don?t know if that can be the problem.....but I know that if we forget this, the design can behave in many strange ways......also with the tracing...... You find the start/end point order- system through the headline "Stitch" on the top of the screen........it is not enough that you place your design in the middle on the screen.....
