rosemary
There must be button on the machine and needle. If you push that button, this helps you to line up your needle and finally helps you in threading. Quote Link to comment
sherry
The automatic thread must lined up with the wheel just above in the Brother SE400. If it is not lined up, it may not be working. You have to turn the wheels until make sure that lines are coming together. Quote Link to comment
olive
You should make sure that your needle is installed correctly. The hook which is responsible for catching thread cannot be seen because it is small. Quote Link to comment
stitchlady
Please, re-check your needle and its installment. Generally, problem of thread is always associated with needle issue. Quote Link to comment
AlexAbramov
For bringing needle in to right position, you should always push the button for the purpose to make it in right position. Brother occasionally face this needle issue. Also, make sure that, your needle is accurately incorporated. And, also look to your auto thread. On occasion, I also struck in to these problems.
