Β I have been using metro thread after arc thread from melco since years.... was a big mistake because I get thread breaks all the time. Please tell me which thread brand always is the best option for high production? I use toyota, swf and melco machine. Thanks

I usually make use of isacord or madeira however I think toyota 850 is also great. Madeira charges some processing fee which is not acceptable for me. I feel they must think about it if they want to grow some really good customers in long term.

Well ... Yes Madeira is a great thread. Probably best BUT I usually use Robison-Anton Poly thread.Β

Why?Β

Β

Cause Madeira charges Β 2% processing fee on orders, regardless of the size.

I never had issues with the Robison Anton, this thread runs just fine, with very less breaks, I run my machine in 850spm range. mainly I 've got Barudans, with few Tajima's .Β

That EXACT reason is for me as well, becasue even I stay away from using Madeira! Β Robison is good and I use it too, I have used some Isacord also, but according to me its very linty.Β

I've got around 200 Tajima heads. I have been embroidering since long. I have also used various major brands such as Madeira, gunold, Robison, Isacord as well as Salus. These all are absolutely good brands but for me that suits is Salus thread since the quality is just same like Robison Anton and its available at much lower price.

Yes, madeira has also irritated me. I only make use of their thread only I need them in urgent basis, so usually I use some Isacord equivalent as they are good and I get them for 7.50 that is per 5000m cone . I will also check the sessa thread.

I agree totally! I also like Madeira poly but hate their shipping and handling fees! You do not have to purchase directly from the Madeira though. you can checkout The PAS Store.

I use the Fil-Tec's glide thread. Β Its Easy to use as wel as very minimal breakage. Helps that their headquarters is 20 min down the road.

Running 740 heads. Mostly Madeira Polyneon, with a small amount of RA mixed in where there's no Madeira color match. However, larger customers like us have much more leverage to deal with them on price & service charges.Β

I run just under 900 embroidery heads, and have 58 Chenille heads.Β

I refuse to use Madeira just on principal.
