I have a melco bravo embroidery machine and use Design Shop Pro digitizing software. How do I change stitch density and pull comp on designs I've downloaded? I go to properties, change density and it reverts back to original density.

You have a pic of a full front panel photo stitch wolf on a t shirt. May I ask how you stabilized it specifically. Type of backing, single or multiple layers or types. Spray tack or any other special handling. How heavy is the final presentation? I have been working on a light fashion t and am having hard time not getting push pull distortions and puckering even with med/heavy fusible backing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Really impressed with the idea, but want as light an end result as possible for the combo of high stitch density and light t shirt. Thanks in advance. Running Melco EMT16 and 11 3/4 x 17 hoop. I am really wanting to end with the lightest result that is feasible. I am open to suggestions including slowing speed down to a creep, lightening bobbin/top stitch weights, creative backing combinations, etc. Whatever might have worked for anyone.- 1 reply

Hi all been search for a embroidery software like freeware if there is one where i can convert my vector files (eps, ai, cdr) machine embroidery machine formats such as Tajima -dst, .Melco -exp .dst and other popular. I know Tajima? Wilcom and Barudan is supposed to be great but i hear its quite pricey and basically im just trying to experiement for now and do a few custom designs for my customers. can anyone reccomend a solutiona or give me free version (trial or have some limitations)? also if anyone knows how to do these with adobe illustrator, fireworks or other vector soft that would help also. Thanks -

A customer sent me a file in a Melco .ofm format. Can Wilcom embroidery digitizing software read this type of file? Or how can I get it converted to .DST or .EXP format?

I have recently purchased a Melco AMAYA XTS embroidery machine and I need a little help. Can anyone tell me the basic steps to the menu to get it started? I have Tajima machines and I am familiar with basic operations, I just need the steps to start the menu and get it going. I appreciate any help you can give me. -
Hey everybody. I'm torn between either getting a baby lock enterprise or the amaya xts. From what I've read I can only find that Babylock is more for beginners or more accurately "idiot proof." I understand there is a huge learning curve with embroidery but I am ready for it. I am leaning more towards the babylock because of the camera and touch screen, but I also read the Amaya would be better for production. give me insight on these machines, or would I be safe with either one?
