Brother embroidery digitizing software

Can anyone help with advice how to turn a PNG to a PES file on a Brother embroidery machine.

Hello, we are in need of a copy of Brothers' BE-100 software. We have a key and a backup PC (running XP). Our main PC hard drive has crashed and we need to load BE-100 on to the spare machine. We are in a bind with orders and don't need the expense of upgrading! Can anyone help?!?

I just wanted to mention for anyone that wasn't aware, if you want to use the Filtec Glide threads, I previously uploaded a color chart ready to import into the software and use. It works well.

How do I create a "knockdown" stitch in Brother PE-Design 11 embroidery digitizing software? Is it called something other than "knockdown"?

Hello folks using Brother PE11 to manually edit print photo. When I get to( select image, shapes) Split outline, when I use mouse to outline a shape, sometimes it works but others a window opens. ! The polygon to be split crosses itself. Edit the polygon so the lines do not cross. I really can't work out what I'm doing wrong. Can anyone help? Many thanks

I'm just getting started with PE Design 2 and I'm having trouble with tutorial 1. I can get the first image (House_Line.bmp) uploaded. But when I want to print the design the print option is greyed out. Do I need to select something else before I can print? My printer is connected perfectly because I can print from other apps. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Please help me, I just started with PE design 11… but how can I switch between tabs shapes and stitches? Sometimes it shows and sometimes not.. I cant figure it out in my own

Is there a way to know how much thread there will be used, preferrable in meters in PE-DESIGN 11? Or can I calculate this somehow?

hello, i bought a 2nd hand sewing/embroidery machine and it come with the brother pe design 11 software. i put the software up for sale as i thought i may not use it and someone asked me the following question ---- As this is a used software, does it need to be deregistered with the Brother? ---- i,m not sure what that means...does anyone know please can i just sell it on to someone else or will it not work for them. i hope someone can help please as i am a beginner to sewing/embroidery. also can i please ask if its a good idea to keep the software for myself instead of selling on or would it be too advanced for myself as i am a beginner.thanky…

I own a Brother BES 1216AC - 12 color embroidery machine. I know this is a very old machine but was fully functional until one day when it was turned off. I contacted Brother USA to acquire the Panel Installation software for this machine. I was sent files for a chinese machine. It does not work. There should be 3 files to reset and install the machine back to work. Is there any hope of getting some of these original old machine files? Your help would be greatly appreciated as I make my living with these machines. Thank you in advance for your attention to this matter.

Hello I just bought toyota ad 860. What embroidery software then I use with these machines? Currently I work on PE Design Next, but I do not know if the extentions proposed by PE are valleable for toyota machines. Thank you

My machine in a Brother 1500D. It can take a hoop up to 6.25 to 10.25. It only take pes files. I am using the PED-basic software. It will not open. There is nothing in the folder when I open it. Help please.

I thought we could load a .PDF image to digitize in PE-Design Next. I am going to "Image, Load", but PE-Design doesn't recognize the .PDF file. Can someone tell me how to load this file?

Hi all, Im new to embroidery, i have purchase some of the designs off of this site to practise, just wandering what the best stabiliser to use is? without leaving a rough surface on the inside? i am only practising on towels, daughters t-shirts and singlets at this stage... also, whats the best cotton to use? I've noticed that several of the designs suggest Robinson-Anton? is this correct? something that i can purchase from spotlight? I'm after a wider range of colours, i have only basic colours that came with the machine at the moment and i need more to make prettier things. Thanks so much, Foxy

Hi there! I'm trying to find embroidery software that can output a design to PDF but in vector format and not as a rendered image. I won't go into unnecessary detail but I need to be able to open the PDF as vector in Adobe Illustrator so that the embroidery design can be accessed and edited. I know this is an unusual requirement but it is essential to workflow of the company I work with. The Wilcom software that we're currently using has been retired and replaced with an online only version that doesn't offer this capability. Hello, New to this and trying to embroider a 7x5 photograph in brothers pe 11 When I import the image (jpg format) it makes it much larger the 7x5 inchs its been cropped to. I tried making the page size 7x5, but when i photo stitch it and fit to page, it always makes it smaller. if i use the bigger hoop, it still imports it way bigger than 7 x 5 thank you in advance for any solutions.

This is in regard to PE-Design Next: all I want to be able to do is swap the start and end points on a simple line design (a quilting design as it happens), but I can't for the life of me figure out how. Can anybody point me to the answer, if it exists? There seems to be little or no advanced help for this software anywhere.

Just bought a brother v3 with pe design plus2 as digitzing software, am a newbee at machine embroidery... i'm playing around with the software to get to know the program, and am encoutering the following problem : when I combine two shapes, I can modify the overlap and prevent that certain sections will be stiched twice when I combine a shape and some text, I can not modify the overlap. I tried, looked in the manual, searched the internet, but can't find the answer... can anyone help me ? thanks, gudrun

I downloaded a design and will be sewing it to give as a gift to my boyfriend. I utilised Photoshop and the design looked great. Brought it to PE Design 11 and it looked great. But when I open it up in BROTHER PE Design, it is introducing more colours, which I adjust and yet after alll my tweaking, the design BLEEDS, The letters do not look shapr and crisp so I do not want to sew it, thinking that is how it will wind up on the T-shirt? Does anyone have these types of experiences and how do you correct them? I am not experienced with any embroidery software however I am computer savvy and used to other programs. I am new to the embroidery world.
