Wilcom software

Hi and greeting to the users of this forum, I am a retired 'IT-Guy' / (in)experienced embroiderer and love being at the cutting-edge of technology., I have a Janome MC550E LE machine and am keen to make good headway with my hobby. I have been using InkScaoe/InkStitch in combination with Janome's Artistic Digitizer (Jr.) and, having compared the (similar) capabilities of Janome & Wilcom products, have decided to try Wilcom's 'Hatch', even though Janome's Photo-Stitch seems to be marginally superior. My main purpose of posting here, is to gather some comments, opinions and advice from you experienced Embroiderers. I would love to hear any of you comments…

Anyone know anywhere to purchase SMALL SIZE running stitch fonts? I have found a lot of fonts on etsy and other sites but they are all larger sizes(starting at 1") and they are not generally resizable. Alternatively, does anyone have tips for digitizing these fonts in software such as Wilcom? I have been able to do it manually from existing fonts, but it's a pain in the ass!

Hello I would like to find out if there is any way to shorten file names created via Team Names. Wilcom as default uses entered text details as design names. Text details can get really long sometimes and a barcode generated on production sheet could go up to half of A5 page in landscape orientation. Embroidery machine cannot then scan this barcode. I'm looking for some option within Wilcom to create designs with a default short name, can even be a number. I deal with hundreds of designs daily and changing file names manually is very time consuming and is against the idea of team names which is supposed to simplify and automate this process. Has anyone dealt with with warping and sloppy embroidered text? I use Wilcom embroidery software and lately my text has come out warped with uneven letters even thought it looks completely normal in the software. They only way I've been able to fixt it is by exaggerating each individual letter to compensate which is very tedious and frustrating. Are there digitizing tips for this? Is it a hardware issue with the sewing machines? Any advice helps.

Hi, I have a requirement need to ask your advice. Could somebody tell me how to solve it I have a csv file where I have a multiple name there. Each name will be on one line I also have one wilcom file where I have a default name (for example MAMA) Now I want to replace the default name by the name in csv. Are there any ways to do this automatically?

hi all my question is about printing a design information , when we print a design info for color, stitch, and start and end point the software print start\end hearline in red color i want to change the color of that , but i do not know if any one can know about this so please help me . thanks in advance

The embroidery program fills the center of each letter and other images. I select a transparent background and yet it still fills the center of the closed circle. This happens when I convert (trace) a png image to embroidery. I do this. Please see images below.

I have used Hatch software to convert some pictures to an embroidery designs, they look fine in the Hatch portal and .EMB format but when exported to .PES format the blocks of colour don;t keep their format - the stitches have large ggps in them - any ideas ? Hello; I am new to digitizing, but not to graphics or software by any means. Trying to feel my way through Digitizer V5, with typically lousy documentation that everything seems to come with. If there is something in the software, should it not be explained in the flipping manual? These things are not, and it pisses me off to have to bash my head against this, hoping to luck out and find an answer. Rant off. 1) I am playing with changing object attributes, and as such the "Resequence" menu comes into play. Hi all, I have been working on my embroidery machine for just over 6 months now. I wonder if you can help, I am digitising initials using Wilcoms basic software and when embroidering on to pyjamas (95% viscose), it isn't coming out neat or smooth. The material is getting slightly pulled too. I am using two bits of tear away backing behind. Any advice on what I can do to fix this please? Hello everybody. I run a screen printing company and so far we tend to outsource products in order to meet customers needs. I have just ordered a Ricoma CHT2 with four heads. Although Ricoma claims that Chroma Inspire (the first version of the software) is included with every machine, this is probably done with US customers and not European. My basic need is to convert vector files (in most of the cases this is a two or three color logo). Which digitizing software would you suggest? Do you believe that Chrome Inspire will work for basic digitzing needs or should consider something more advanced such as Hatch Embroidery Digitizer? Thanks for your supp…

Hello. Happy new year to everybody. Long time ago I got Wilcom E 1.5. Now I vould like to use it, but cant find some simple answers. I watched tutorials on Youtube. People do something, and than demostrate how does it works by starting "slow redraw". What ever I do, even a simple desing with single element, I can not use slow redraw. Can enybody tell me why?

HELP !!! Toyota ESP-9000 with Wilcom ES Software Need some help here. We just upgraded our Forte software to the new Wilcom ES and can't get it to work with our Toyota ESP-9000. The ESP-9000 has the 9 pin serial port and is connected to the computer through a USB to serial convertor. The computer has Windows XP ( I will be switching to a new machine as soon as I get things working). Everything works with the Forte software, so my cable and USB converter are good. The proble...m has something to do with the software port settings in the Wilcom package and the button settings on the Toyota. I downloaded the free True sizer onto my laptop the other day, I made the mistake of not ticking off the advanced version so now I am stuck with the Beginner mode... I have done alot of digitizing with Brother software and Bernina software, so I can pretty much handle the Advanced with Wilcom. Should I uninstall it off my computer then reinstall, I have done that and the window never came up the second time????Where do I go from here???

Please, be careful! I downloaded Wilcom True sizer and now all the design files in my library are corrupted! I can hardly be called an alarmist, but now I am experiencing something similar. Tell me, please, how can I restore files? Wilcom Tru Sizer cannot be removed!
