Wilcom software

Hello, I am a private user of a download version of Truesizer E3. I'm new to use software to convert my embroidery files I bought once as *PES format for a Brother innovis 950 into *jef. Now I have a Janome MC 500E , she is aible to read and embroider *jef, *jef+ and *dst. I tryed to convert my files I have on my Lap into *jef with truesizer and always there is an error. I tryed it also with *jef to *jef, I tryed to resize it to a very small size , to center, to choose another machine type (the MC 500E is not available in options and I tryed to update on the Janome side how it is said in the dialog, but the link doesn't work). Just checking if someone may know the answer to the problem I am having with wilcom ES. Having a problem where the program will crash after about 5 mins.. When I mean crash, it just disappears. No error message or anything. The version I have only works on XP so I have it running on XP. I did try uninstalling and reinstalling. We also tried using a different pc and its the same problem. If anyone has any more ideas i could try, I would love to hear them. Thank you, Matt

Hi all. I am new to digitizing and am using the Janome Digitizer V5. I am wanting to make a stuffed soft toy. I have created my design using the Applique tool. This has worked fine. However I need to created a space in the final stitch out so I can stuff the toy. The final stitchout object appears to be an open shape but I cant break the line to make a space. I have set the stitches to sculpture stitch. Any help/advise would be greatly appreciated. Sandy

I have a new pc in order to use my digitizer V5 but the software keeps crashing. I have windows 10 which I know can be problematic but am unsure what I can do about it , in simple terms please! Many thanks

One of my online manuals for the V5 software has a wonderful stitched drawing of man's face (attached) No idea why the image is in one (pc) version of the manual and not another (mac), but the text next to it talks about "designs resembling pencil or charcoal sketches" which can be quickly digitized. I dont think this image looks particularly like charcoal but the instructions tell you to "use the tools to create doodle type drawing effects" but there's no mention about what tools can create these charcoal or pencil sketches. Anyone have any ideas please? I realise its the freehand open line of course but is that all that's required? thanks!

Purchased my machine and digitizing software last year and I'm still learning about it. Now I have a problem that I can not figure out. I purchased a applique alphabet. The outline stitch is a satin stitch. I have lowered the density to create a zig-zag outline. Now I need to shorten the stitch width not the length. Can anyone tell me how.

A fellow embroiderer sent me a font file so I could help her out with some jackets, however, when she sent me the file the extension got changed now I can not open it and need to change the extension to get it into my Wilcom e1.5 software. it came as: letters.FNT where/how do I change it to DST. any help would be appreciated. she has since gone out of business. thanks

I am new at this embroidery business and am having a problem merging embroidery design with either Wilcom 2006 or E3. A lot of the choices I make after clicking on them state "error reading design. Any ideas??

Would anyone have any ideas on how to digitize a fill for 1 inch lettering on a cap? The finished font looks like a ribbed corduroy. I don't know how else to describe it. The stitch angle goes just one way and there are slim sections of satin stitches, separated by a slim space in between them, which is what gives it the look of a ribbed corduroy. I have tried everything I can think of to get that look but have struck out so far. Any ideas?

Hi all I am willing to purchase embroidery studio E3 from wilcom, but I am unaware about its price. I have contacted local dealer the price they have quoted is way too high. If anybody here have purchased E3 pls quote the price & your country so that it can help members to know what price the dealers are offering in what city/state. also pls inform the price is with integrated corel or without corel. If possible anybody has recently upgraded from 2006 to E3 pls inform the price your dealer has quoted for upgrade.

Hi Everyone, i would just like to know if any one can tell me what mannual stitches are? and when i should use them? i have been digitizing for years, and have never used a single Mannual Stitch. another query i have on this is that the auto lock stitch command in Wilcom, gives my digitizing little tails once embroidered. it dosent sit in neat and tidy with the embroidery.i have been fighting this for years, is there any solution out there? at the moment if i need to lock off a stitch i draw a small run stitch then put a auto basic lock on the end of it. this way i can move the lock to where ever i desire.this works ok, but sometimes i still get little tails every…

I have had a embroidery design digitized but when I open it, it says 117 mm but should be 60 mm. and when I take the 3D off there is a funny stitch way out the the side. I am new to this and do not understand what it is or how to get rid of it?? there is like a traffic light symbol there to?

Is there a way to keep the hoop showing once the embroidery is saved, I would like to place the embroidery in a pre-determined place for the operator.

I have been asked to embroidery a name on a Christmas stocking I think that this is some version of Diana Script, but what's in my embroidery digitizing software seems to be heavier. I have not tried sewing this out on test fabric yet, but would like to know how to take a font and make the columns narrower. I'm including the 2 pxf files I've made. Set to 25.4 mm / 1 inch. I found some very similar fabric on the remnant table for upholstery fabric at my local Darycock's fabric store. It's pretty heavy and plush. Thanks,

Hi I have a new computer, which runs windows 8.1. I am attempting to install Wilcom E3. I installed from the CD, then went to the site to install the latest updated version. While installing this message popped up: This program has compatibility issues: Microsoft SQL Server 2005 It gave me two choices, which were to run anyway, or to let them offer a solution. Although we have Madeira 40 embroidery thread set in user preferences, on our machine embroidery design printouts, the threads are being shown as R-A threads. How can I change this?

A customer sent me a file in a Melco .ofm format. Can Wilcom embroidery digitizing software read this type of file? Or how can I get it converted to .DST or .EXP format?

How can I control the blend points, like 30% of the segment height the increase is done. I've done blends, but never can find the controls of transition, only density of stitches.
