Hey all! I’ve been using this machine for about 6 months and only recently started learning more about filling a shape. My circles always have these lines through them, is this a design issue? It’s as if the shape pattern never fully meets when embroidering, but the design itself is a closed complete circle. The design program I use is inkstitch on inkscape. Not sure how to insert an image, hopefully it’s easy to understand from my description.

Hello everyone! I did something I never imagined would actually work: I made Contrado print my design on satin and it came out beautiful! Buuuut I tried to applicate the cut out satin textile with freehand quilting and I was not satisfied with the result. I am using the Bernina V6 Stitching Software and a Husquvarna Diamond deluxe and I also use the Silhouette Cameo Plotter. I read it was possible to cut out the cloth per Silhouette Cameo and then fit it in the digitized embroidery file. I'm working on making iron on patches to put on has that I am going to sell. I wanted to know if anyone has any recommendations for fabric and iron on adhesive. I bought some tactical fabric from my local sewing store and heat and bond ultra hold. My biggest questions are, will heat and bond ultra hold be pretty permanent and hold up well? Is there a better higher grade iron on adhesive I should use? Is there a particular brand of tactical fabric or type that would be best to use? any and all help would be greatly appreciate. Anyone ever have problems with the bottom line of lettering not sewing straight on a hat, kind of like arching on the bottom in the middle, if so does anyone have a solution to stop this.

Hi all. Im very ,very new to machine embroidery. In fact ALL embroidery. I have a fabulous brother embrodery machine and absolutely love it. ive had my partners business logo digitized and attempted to embroider it tonight. I did a test piece On some purple felt with tear away stabilizer and it looked amazing. When i did it on a cotton tshirt it wasn't as good as the felt. Is this because the felt is more rigid? how do i overcome this problem? Can any one advise me?

Awhile back....everything is blending during covid, but there was an article on digitizing using thick thread for high speed embroidery machines. I have experimented and know that using thicker thread requires less stitches and larger needles. Anyone else experimented and willing to share their settings or tutorial how to create designs using thicker thread? It can be a unique and different way to fill large designs using less stitches. I'm using some embroidery online store and have a nice patch designed. I've spent quite some time on it, but I can't seem to figure out how to get rid of these darn jump stitches between the letters in the outer border. I can't find any information about removing jump stitches on embroidery library and I'm wondering if anyone knows a quick tip to get the software to insert a "trim" or "cut" or whatever command needs to be put between letters to cut the thread on the underside and start over on the next letter. thanks!

Has anyone embroidered umbrellas. I read something in the past where you can stitch the edges of the umbrella. Is there specific techniques? or sprays to seal off the holes where stitched?

So i am using Wilcom and i tried the Photo Stich Add-On but it's not the same thing.On the photo stich from wilcom is using just one colour, where on this video the machine has 4 colours that uses to complete a perfect portrait.The machine will embroider four separate layers adding different details with each colour.In the video i saw that it uses a combination of cross and run stitches. I am embroidering puff onto a baseball cap (Hawk Head) design. Using a tearaway stabilizer and 2mm puff. I am experiencing a problem with the final sew out where the design is pulling in (concave) the area of the design on the front of the hat. Get the same happening on other puffed designs also. Using a Pantogram 1501 single head machine. Looking for suggestions as to what I may be doing wrong. Ideas?

Hi I'm fairly new to embroidery and have had my fair share of mistakes. I'm embroidering tee shirts which are 180gsm and polo shirts which are 220gsm. The polo shirt material is clearly thicker than the tee shirt material. I have a Brother Innov-is NV800e machine which has all sorts of tweaks such as tension, plate height etc etc. I tend to leave it as it is for everything I do and on occasion things happen that I can't explain other than maybe the machine should have been "tweaked" slightly between one cloth type and another. Hi, I have been machine embroidering at home for nearly 30 years. I was recently gifted a CD of embroidery designs after a friend's aunt died. I use a Janome 9700 but most of these designs are for other machine, Brother, Husquana etc. Does anybody know of some free conversion software I can get hold of so that I can at least SEE these designs?
