Did sombody find out how to digitize for this material? I'm having troubles with a filled circle. The digitizing company we are using has no idea about digitizing for this material, so I had to do edits to the design, changing the understitches and the fills, but still can't get it right. Any tip about digitizing this (we've got lot's of tips about hooping) would be really appreciated! Attached is my embroidery file for this design. Thank you so much!!! Can anybody help me sort this out once and for all. Whenever I attempt to do a large design with dense stitching I get this ruffling/puckering of the embroidered area. I have tried different backing, different tentions, different densities of stitches, different speeds of the machine but all to no avail. It just has this wavey type effect whach throws off the allignment of other parts of the design. I have attached some pictures of the problem on my current project which is a large design on fleece. That is backed with 1 layer of iron on/tear away and 2 layers of medium weight cutaway, light tensions and 500 SPM The digitising software I use is Si…

Hi everyone, My son want to make a project for his room and i have a few question that i don't cannot find answer... If somebody could give me some clue would be really nice. He would like to use a big sheet of velcro loop and create some design to make patche, then stick to the sheet. He would like to have big size sheet 2meter long on 1m large. And some of the custom patch size 70cmx70cm. He told me that he saw online website selling embroidery that could do custom patches. I would like to know if can do those size and if it's not going to break my wallet? Then i'd like to know is there is no alternative that would be cheaper but look nice as embroidery…

I have a melco bravo embroidery machine and use Design Shop Pro digitizing software. How do I change stitch density and pull comp on designs I've downloaded? I go to properties, change density and it reverts back to original density.

Here we will place everything that can be repaired and restored with the help of machine embroidery. The word "clothing" is here applied conditionally so that it is not associated with the repair of embroidery technology.

Hello, I'm going for advice. I embroider picture size approx A5 in beige, brown and white colors. It takes me a long time (I have been embroidering it for 2 years). Today I pulled it out of the drawer for half a year and at the places where I hold a circle with embroidery the fabric starts to turn yellow and I don't know what to do with it. :-( Will it be gently washed? (I haven't even finished it yet).

Hi Everyone! Im just looking for some advice, I do a lot of cap work and have a customer who really wants the DSquared style big square embroidery logo. Just wondering how you would recommend doing this? I have trying making a patch and sewing this on like an applique but the stitching to tack it down doesnβt line up? Are these made flat before the caps are put together? This is an example of what type of outcome Iβm looking for... in our Embroidery gallery Thanks in advance Kevin

I have a Viking Topaz 50 Embroidery machine. Thanks so much for providing so many VP4 embroidery designs. I don't find that on any other website I have researched! My question is about machine embroidery felting. I recently bought a felting kit. My Premier Plus Ultra software has a few built in felting designs, but not many. Does anyone know where I can find more felting designs? Also, do you know what types of designs do best for Machine felting? I would like to eventually digitize or convert my designs but right now I know very little about it. I haven't found much on the internet yet about machine embroidery felting. Thanks in advance for your help!

I would like to thank Irina for her article on stitch length. I am new to digitizing and was having trouble visualizing what I was doing. I have sewn out 36 1 inch squares of fill and columns so I can see what I am doing.

Im fairly new at this digitizing so this is probably a pretty basic question, but when i use satin stitches and there is a segment next to another one there is a gap between the two sections. im not sure how to get rid of the gaps. ive tried overlapping the segments but that doesn't always help. is there a trick in how to digitize the segments so they run together??? Help!!!

Hello, I have just bought a very expensive machine but I am too afraid to turn it on, too afraid my design is not good enough and I don't want to wreck anything on my first attempt. unlike printing - I fear that just continually trying until I get it right will wreck my machine. My first attempt is a hat, can someone possibly give me some advice just to ease my fear? I am assuming I Don't need pull comp. & need a medium underlay - but I don't understand how to make the underlay match the black hat and still have the color of the design on the front. and for the text - it seems so small and I am scared about the right stitching. I ha…

I bought a Patch Kit with water soluble stabilizer. I have a pattern for a free standing butterfly and the instructions say to use this stabilizer. The problem is it won't hold the thread, It starts by threading 1/2 the outline, when it starts the wing it looks stringy and eventually puts a big hole in the stabilizer. I even tried tripling the stabilizer and the same thing happens. I would appreciate any feedback on this. It's a beautiful pattern.

Hello I am looking for someone (or a video) who could explain how to use a Toyota AD860 please. I have just bought 2 used but the company that sold me could not give me the explanations (except the mode of employment is not very clear) on the operation of this machine. It is an old model and therefore a little more complicated than the industrial news currently sold. Someone to help me please? thank's

Hi there, I need help with recommendations for a digitizer who is expert at fonts. Not someone who will just chuck it through the software and indeed not the cheapest - rather someone who will take time and care to ensure the alphabets are best possible. I've had a few quotes so far, courtesy of googling, but they aren't interested in what fabric I'm using, what needle size and thread weight etc. I had a sample done by one who tried to send me the character done with satin stitch: The characters are 0.5" high and quite delicate so I would have though a running stitch would have been more appropriate (based on my limited amateur knowledge!) I did suggest this and …

I've got a Tajima TEHX-C1501 and just started experimenting with 3D Puff and can not for the life of me figure out how to put a machine stop in the design. I need the machine to stop between the outline and the fill and then pick up on the fill stitch when I hit start. Currently I've got to watch the design and hit stop when it goes to color change and that's just a waste of time. I also have a Barudan BEXY if anyone knows how to do the same thing there. Thank You!

I absolutely hate doing woven fabrics because it seems that no matter what I do, there is puckering. I'm beginning to feel that maybe the puckering is just an industry standard and I'm being way to picky. Is there someone who would be willing to to run a sample of one of my files on their embroidery machine using similar fabric, backing, etc that I have and let me know if they are getting the same type of puckering? I've spent literally 4 hours working on a stitch out sample trying to get rid of the puckering and I'm getting totally frustrated. I've switched needles, taped the hoop, traced the hoop outline before and after stitching to see if the fabric is moving (a…

I am stitching a embroidery design where the font is only 0.25 in tall and am having great difficulty. I've enlarged the embroidery design, increased the spacing, and run the embroidery machine slowly but the "s" continues to get a bird's nest causing a hole in my shirt. I am also embroidering on Under Armour polos, so I'm sure that doesn't help. I'm losing too many of these expensive shirts to holes! Can someone please help me? The font I need to use is Brantford New. Thanks in advance for any info you all can give. It's nice to have some support out there.
