Tajima Pulse software

I normally have to back save an Adobe Illustrator file to version 8 in order for it to open in pulse with the import artwork feature. I recently upgraded my AI program only to find that it's still not compatible with the program and wont open. Am I correct here the only way to open vector files in pulse from AI is to still back save them in version 8 Adobe Illustrator? Any help would be much appreciated. Feeling frustrated

I'm wondering who is working with the Fur stitches. What is the density if you use this stitch is on top of an Complex Fill ? How to create a blending with Fur Stitches? Is there any sample files to use these stitches (as Dog from Pulse page)?

When i create embroidery with branched areas, how can i change overlap? Example letter a. My customer like format PXF for using in Ambassador. If he resize my work, may be have a problem (non sewed areas). Of course I can set it manually by simply digitize overlap. But as it can be set automatically? Example percentage or distance?

Several times imported EPS format. And every time, which is not. The program looks nice and smooth. When imported into Tajima (version 12, level maestro), a lot of reference points. The curve is not smooth. Many nodes. Edited manually - a very long time. This function only works for me bad? Can import different format?

I using pre digitized font in my Tajima Pulse Maestro. My customer ask me about border (steil- zig zag) to letter. I don't fount this tool in font panel..I need convert each letter to Complex fill , and after add ZigZag border? I not like this way, because i left word as letters set.

Where the program saves my spiral fill? I searched in the main folder and found nothing. Please help ... I wanted to share the my fill. I have Tajima Pulse version 14 maestro//

I?ve tried using Auto digitizing mode on a simple design with 2 colors, and it always tells me i have thousands of colors. With the sample images, it says there are only a few colors, maybe 4 or 5 depending on the design. When I use a custom design it gives me thousands of colors, and says there are too many colors to use any mode except the photo stitching mode. What?s the deal?

When I go to edit stitches every time I click on the screen anywhere, my embroidery design redraws? If I click twice it redraws two times. I am running Windows 7 and this is the only problem I am having. Can someone help or have some in site?

After downloading the updates for Tajima software I am curious are the downloadable fonts actual embroidery files or are the simple True Type fonts (TTF) for word processing programs. Also as was asked last month where should these files be downloaded to if they are in fact embroidery files?

A question for all Tajima Pulse software users out there. What machine do you use this digitizing software with?

I would like to have a print out of all the fonts available on the Tajima Pulse Maestro (14) software. It would make it so much easier than sewing out each font. Is a print out available somewhere on one of the any websites?

I am thinjing looking at buying new Tajima Pulse embroidery software. Originally I was looking at version 14 to work with Adobe Illustrator which I already own. When I was contacted by a dealer I was told the Illustrator Extreme is 2900 usd but I would be able to buy verison Maestro for 4800 usd. Keep in mind this is after a trade and discount in. So my questions are as follows. First is it worth the difference to bump up to the Maestro version? Also how good are the conversions from Illustrator vector's file (ai, eps and also corel files) to a embroidery out? Also this soft have the auto digitizing module for bitmaps. (free) value.
