Tajima Pulse software

So I've made the move, I'm going to upgrade from Tajima Pulse Illustrator V 13 to Illustrator version 14; When I receive my new software disc and security device, will I need to uninstall my current version of Pulse completely first, or can I install Tajima Illustrator 14 over top? Hello I upgrade my PC and install some old software. Some software working without problem , Some as Tajima Pulse not working. Whats wrong? I using any mode (options) and not working.

I just updated my software and the software will work in the latest version but if I try to go back and use an older version, the software will not open. I was able to use this version before I updated, why can I not use it now?

When I upgraded to Tajima Illustrator Extreme I was upset to find that the End Lock list no longer included Triangle & Diamond, it just had Basic and Line. When I reported it I was questioned why I needed them. Being new to the business it made me wonder how and when I should really be using them. What upset me about the missing diamond was I like to use the diamond at a big size stitch (2 or 3 mm) for locking off temporary tensioning or holding stitches as its easier to cut them out afterwards. I am trying to figure out how to skew or distort segments or groups of segments in version 14 (maestro). I am updating from v9.1 (designer), and am use to just placing my cursor along the edge I want to skew until it turned into an arrow and then left clicking and sliding it until I get the shape I want. This could be done on any of the 4 sides of the segment box. Now, I cannot find how to do this. A simple example would be if I did a horizontal line...just a rectangle, but then I want to slide the right end up while keeping the left side anchored in place. I have just upgraded to the latest version of 14.1.6.5388 and its set for default density of 63.5 however under properties in satin it shows 0.0 spi I have no idea why I have composer

I'm wondering who is working with the Fur stitches. What is the density if you use this stitch is on top of an Complex Fill ? How to create a blending with Fur Stitches? Is there any sample files to use these stitches (as Dog from Pulse page)?

I using pre digitized font in my Tajima Pulse Maestro. My customer ask me about border (steil- zig zag) to letter. I don't fount this tool in font panel..I need convert each letter to Complex fill , and after add ZigZag border? I not like this way, because i left word as letters set.

Several times imported EPS format. And every time, which is not. The program looks nice and smooth. When imported into Tajima (version 12, level maestro), a lot of reference points. The curve is not smooth. Many nodes. Edited manually - a very long time. This function only works for me bad? Can import different format?

I?ve tried using Auto digitizing mode on a simple design with 2 colors, and it always tells me i have thousands of colors. With the sample images, it says there are only a few colors, maybe 4 or 5 depending on the design. When I use a custom design it gives me thousands of colors, and says there are too many colors to use any mode except the photo stitching mode. What?s the deal?

When I go to edit stitches every time I click on the screen anywhere, my embroidery design redraws? If I click twice it redraws two times. I am running Windows 7 and this is the only problem I am having. Can someone help or have some in site?

After downloading the updates for Tajima software I am curious are the downloadable fonts actual embroidery files or are the simple True Type fonts (TTF) for word processing programs. Also as was asked last month where should these files be downloaded to if they are in fact embroidery files?

I would like to have a print out of all the fonts available on the Tajima Pulse Maestro (14) software. It would make it so much easier than sewing out each font. Is a print out available somewhere on one of the any websites?
