Tajima Pulse software

I installed my Tajima 2009 Illustrator Extreme in my new Windows 7 computer. I just noticed that the embroidery designs in Librarian that came with my digitizing software did not load. I went to find a embroidery design and the file is empty. How do I proceed to install or copy the machine embroidery designs into Librarian?

What is the "Paste" button at the button left hand corner of Segment Settings used for?

All of a sudden my right click on my mouse isn't working. I don't *think* I've changed anything. It used to pull up a short cut menu for things like transform, etc...and now it just sort of "blinks" at me. I thought I set up the mouse stuff under Tools/Configuration/User Settings, but I can't seem to find it. Did I imagine that? Did something change in the software? Could it be the right button on my mouse went bad? I've tried a bunch of stuff trying to diagnose the problem but I'm not finding anything. HELP! I miss my right click!

I go under Tools/ Config/ User setting adjust everything the way i like, but when i restart the program their all back to factory preset. How do i save it the way i want ...Inches to mm, company name,etc.

I am new to editing with this software. In the past I have sent everything to our outside digitizer for edits. I would like to learn how to edit small stuff so that I don't have to wait and also to save a little money. One question I have is about reversing the direction of the the stitches. Is there an easy way to do it? Any help would be appreciated.

Hello, Please note that in order to use Auto Trace within Tajima Pulse version 2010, you can use the short cut key of "T". Once you have your image loaded on your screen, simply choose your drawing or digitizing tool and press "T" on your keyboard which will activate the Auto Trace.

my error says Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime 9.0 (includes ATL and MFC) how do I get around this?

I was browsing through images to load to practice my digitizing when I noticed the Font folder. I opened it and saw a whole bunch of fonts that I don't have on my drop down menu (baby blanket, beverly, carving, charisma, cola bottle, fine point, humpty dumpty, josephine, rebecca and many more). They all have the extension _fon.pcx. Some of the other fonts that I do have in my drop down menu have this same extension. How can I get these other fonts into my drop down menu so I can use them?

I'm playing with the software Tajima Pulse, and I think I'm missing a step in how to use the density line feature. I've drawn a box and used a complex fill. I changed the density to linear increasing, clicked on the density line tool. I get the arrow will a little bead on the tip, but it won't let me do anything. I get the universal no sign the red circle with a slash through the middle. What am I missing? Thanks,

Hi Guys just wanting to know if there is a setting or function you can use in Tajima Pulse to make quick & Easy Fade /Gradient fill stitched blocks for backgrounds. can you set the fill stitch density at 0 (at the start of the block) and then at say 25. (at the end of the block) so it gets thicker as its stitching. i want to digitize a single color block, then have a different color overlay the top e.g. white block with black on top, so it seems the embroidery is fading form white to black. hope this makes sense, i know its possible just have no clue what to do :/

I thought the draw fusion option was suppose to make life easier. I have been trying to use this option unsuccessfully. I open the draw fusion and Corel screen comes up, I import the file and click the switch. The software does its thing in a new window but I cant see the stitched design on the screen. I tried zooming put 1:1, fit to current window and nothing. I seen this function work once successfully and that was when a Pulse embroidery software tech was on the phone with me and since than Tajima Pulse has not given an straight answer. Help anyone. Tajima Pulse users, can you tell me what the status is on a fix for the longer than normal stitches in a complex fill where sections of the fill meet? I can attach a screenshot if you want. I have tried moving the start/stop beads to no avail. Thank you.

What am I doing wrong I followed the instruction in Section 3.9 Name Stacking but the names keep creating a file that's way to long to sew on embroidery machine. Please Help

I'm running some tests on a TCMX embroidery machine with a design using Chenille. I have several blocks with the same color, but the program automatically makes unnecessary thread cuts on every block. What should I do to program this blocks without cutting the thread?

I have Tajima Illustrator , version X2 and am still trying to learn the new ways to do things. I cannot figure out how to lasso a embroidery design or part of a embroidery design to change it (example reflecting the design). It seemed easier with my old version. Thanks for any help. I have been trying to find a clean way of creating applique cut files to run on an IoLine 300 cutter. I cut my share of two and three layer tackle twill patches. To date I have created my artwork in Pulse and transferred it to Corel via Draw Fusion. What I have found of recent is that there is enough variance to cause problems when I use the same artwork to create the applique sew files. Up thru version 4028 the Export applique cut file using the PLT function results in a file which is not processed by the IoLine software. Exporting a DXF file does not do the trick either because all of the layers are blended into a single layer when the IoLine software inputs the fil…

My first post was so successful and so easily fixed my problem I'm inspired to ask another question. (Doing a good job at something only gets you another harder job you know! *grin*) Can the color of the cross hairs when digitizing be changed to something other than black? I'm frequently digitizing black items and when you go to position the cross hairs in the middle of a blob of black you can't see them. It's kind of a PITA. If it's possible..WHERE??? Thanks much!

I normally have to back save an Adobe Illustrator file to version 8 in order for it to open in pulse with the import artwork feature. I recently upgraded my AI program only to find that it's still not compatible with the program and wont open. Am I correct here the only way to open vector files in pulse from AI is to still back save them in version 8 Adobe Illustrator? Any help would be much appreciated. Feeling frustrated

I've gone blank. How do I move the start and stop beads once they are set in a embroidery design? I was digitizing an outline around a letter and want to move the start and end points to a different side. I know there is a way, I've just forgotten and can't find it in my notes.

Since working with Tajima Pulse, some designs do not carry all the .PXF stitch information from the program to the machine when output to the spoiler. If I have worked with a design that I have done a stitch to outline transformation on, or taken a stock design and added text that I have modified via the Properties options, or specifically, done both, I find that the stitch count drops by a significant amount. I would say by 1k on a 14k design for instance, with 14k showing in the program and only 13k transferred to the machine. This particularly happens if I beef up the text for a better result. I understand that Pulse does not support compound paths. Any way I can import an image so that the hollow areas don't show up filled?

I'm trying to digitize a logo that uses a strange font, so I'm digitizing the letters by tracing. I scanned the letterhead and set the jpeg as a backdrop image. How do I stop the backdrop image from disappearing when I zoom in?

I need to understand how to load artwork into this embroidery software. For some reason when I try to import artwork, it tells me there is an error and won't let me. I have to copy and paste whatever image I want to work off of.
