Questions and Answers about embroidery machines

I lost power to my Janome embroidery 350 when I was at stitch #20,815. How do get back to that stitch number to finish my project? Surely there is an easier way than to "jog" 10 stitches at one time.

I'm sure they mean SOMETHING. I'm confused. I have Innov-is 950D ( I just know that D means its having Disney designs in it). I trying to educate myself, there is Innov-is, PE,LB, SE, Quattro, etc and they all have numbers. Is there any easy way to understand how they get compared to to each other?

I'm interested in one of these.. do anyone have it? please give opinions? thanks

I,m helping a friend to find a new Benina machine. She feels the format to be .ART however I cannot convert any design to .ART from the Janome program, yes I can easily convert to other formats. please suggest what should I do. She wants a quilt label. I told her I can digitize it and email her so that she is able to get it stitched quickly. The problem is that my program is not giving the output to the.ART formant. any help?????

Hi, I want opinions on what will be the best and superb embroidery machine as well as software for having logos on t shirts or polo shirts.

I want to know how to skip through some parts of any design. For instance want to skip the parts of an applique or in case I make any mistake then want to start again from where the mistake occurred. Will this be possible? I am doing a sweatshirt, the inner hoop just popped out when i was doing the embroidery and When I tried to snap it back, that design got off a stitch. Thanks!

I LOVE embroidery !!!! I recently bought a second hand Brother PE770 machine from online. I think the 5x7 hoop must be replaced because most of the time the front slot of the hoop does not click in the arm rightly. I have also tried other sized hoops. they go in and out of the machine perfectly. A local dealer of Brother quoted me 97 USD. I want opinion from from people who do embroidery...do I invest in Brother hoop or try some generic brand, is there a better hoop? I saw Magna and Snap Hoops, please give me suggestions. Thanks!!

Can I embroider a snowflake name on some thicker stabilizer? I've seen ornaments that are embroidered and it looks that they're on a thicker stabilizer and cut out. Sorry if it seems vague!

Hi guys I have always wondered if there is a colour convention during threading up any embroidery machine? I mean, we usually have white, black, red, blue etc. Will it be a good practice to have a specific color thread on each needle for example black on 1 and white on 2 etc. Waiting for some help

I cant go further on a project on my machine right now. The universal 16 needle which is in my machine at the moment, and everything is loosened up on the upper tension as well as the lower bobbin tension also is a bit looser, oiled, etc... and the Thread is also breaking repeatedly, I'm waiting for the new thread to get ordered than struggling with this more... anyone has any troubleshooting advice?

Hey, I've been into a big problem which is also wired actually, this is with my Designer 1. I have messed up all my embroidery, please check the picture: Actually the whole back is tangled thread which is a big mess. My machine has never showed such tantrums before. The pattern is that i have flipped 180 degrees by using Embird. I can't find any setting for materials or even thread tension during embroidering also. Anyone help can me ?
